It’s been another busy week at Fesler Built, moving finished projects out and bringing new ones in!

This week saw the completion of the 1969 C-10. A/C and custom interior make for a much different ride inside this classic. Note the custom vent panel under the dash.

Fesler Built’s Pro Touring Series – Part One: Choosing a car to build

August 24th, 2015

  1. Budget – The most important part of a well-planned pro touring project is the budget. Eyeing a $250,000 build with only $40,000 to spend will only end in disappointment. Establish a budget and keep it firmly in mind.Another great tip is to simply expect “budget creep” and plan for it. Intentionally set your budget lower than the cash you have available, and plan on little things coming up that drive up the final cost of the build. Also, be sure the cash you set aside for the build is actual cash, betting on stocks or other investments to hold value can come back to bite you in a crash, leaving you unable to make regular payments and continue the build.

August 6th Photo Blog

August 6th, 2015

This week at Fesler Built has been eventful, for sure. A couple of new projects got started, and not all of them are cars, either!

First up, the new exhaust ports on the 800hp+ Silverado are coming together, as evidenced here. (The exhaust ports are a one-off, not a production item.) The truck also got a new AccuAir system for its air bags.

Ten things we love about building custom cars

August 3rd, 2015

1. The look

There’s no beating the look of a well-designed ride. When we line up a photo shoot for a newly finished project, with the sunset glinting off the windows and wax that looks dripping wet, all is right with the world.
