Today’s blog has something extra in it, but we’ll get to that!
This has been a big week for progress on “Hot Potato,” the 1955 Chevy Bel Air
The rear quarter panels are officially on!
With the rocker panel on, as well, the side of the vehicle is really taking shape.
The 1967 Mustang is getting adjustments and metal work on the doors, now. The tub is pretty much ready for the big rear tires that connect the power of a Pro Touring car to the ground!
The interior for the 1964 Cadillac is going in! So far, the back seat is done. Look for the completed interior on our social media and in next week’s blog!
Now, we made some new C-10 kick panels just yesterday and we took video of the (cooler) parts of the process.
Here’s how the mold looks.
Then the plastic is heated until pliable.
Then this happens! If you haven’t seen this before, it’s pretty cool. Pay attention to the part where the air is sucked out of the mold.
Pretty cool, right? We made a few sets and have them ready to go!
That’s it for this week! Don’t forget, Fesler Built is giving away a trip to SEMA and there’s still time to enter to win at www.roadtosema2015.com!
